The SP-7TC is the updated version of the SP-7WC. It provides the same ligature-resistant solution for hand showers, but adds a spring check mechanism that limits water flow to a trickle unless the male adapter is attached. This prevents accidental flooding, and the trickle informs the user if the shower valve is on.
Note: The hand-held spray attachment is only intended for use under the supervision of facility staff. When not in use, the hose and spray head must be removed from the SP-7TC and stored in a secure location.
